IMS GLC Public Resources & Forums
There are a variety of resources for the public. From public forums to strategic leadership resources such as articles, presentations and webinars. Some of these resources require that you sign up for a free public community login.
We ask you to register in order to keep you informed about IMS GLC activities and learn who is accessing the resources and how the resources are being used. Your information is not shared outside the IMS GLC organization. You can view our privacy policy.
Public Community Forums - Join in the discussion and give us feedback about our projects.
- IMS Public Forums Talk about IMS Specifications: Question & Test Interoperability, Basic Learning Tools Interoperability, Simple Sequencing, Service Oriented Architecture, Learning Information Services, Common Cartridge and Learning Design. You can find codebits and post comments on any IMS Specification.
- Learning Object Discovery and Exchange The LODE forum is a place to discuss the discovery and retrieval of learning content stored in repositories.

Webinar SeriesIf you are a Chief Technology Officer, a Chief Information Officer, Chief Academic Officer, Provost, Rector, Vice Chancellor, Vice President of Academic Technology, or other leader charged with investing in or making successful new technology to improve teaching, learning, and attainment, you have come to the right place.
Listed in strategic leadership resources are feature articles, presentations, webinars, and links focusing on leadership in the use of technology to impact learning. This includes IMS articles and leadership interviews in our Series on Learning Impact. In addition to posting articles we will be providing links to articles on other sites we think are compelling reading and recent presentations given by IMS and others. (Some resources require that you join the IMS GLC Public Forums and Community to gain access and some resources are reserved for IMS Members, Affiliates and Alliance participants.

LearnSAT - Learning and Educational Technology Trends and Satisfaction Survey
LearnSAT is the education industry’s ONLY ongoing research into trends and satisfaction of products and services that contribute to the educational experience. The public may view in-process ratings and provide ratings by accessing the online IMS Learning and Educational Technology Product Directory. IMS Contributing Members have the ability to influence the categories, products and questions in the survey. IMS Contributing and Affiliate Members serve as survey panel participants and have in-process access to the full set of survey results in progress, including:

Specification Downloads
You can download and receive a license for the latest IMS GLC specificationsProfile Registry
Locate, Search and Add Profiles to the IMS GLC Profile Registry. A profile is an adaptation, constraint, and/or augmentation of a schema to suit the needs of a particular community. Different communities may submit profiles of IMS Specifications which have been tailored to their specific needs.
